STUDENT INDUCTION & ORIENTATION PROGRAMME

Introduction
The Student Induction Programme is designed to welcome and prepare new students for university/college life. It helps them adjust to their new roles and environment, educating them on institutional policies, processes, culture, and values. The programme engages new students before regular classes start, forming mentor groups to ensure a smooth transition.
Objectives
  • To help the students feel comfortable in the new environment and adjust to the customs and practices of the college.
  • To enable the students to become familiar with the amenities and access the intellectual and physical resources of the institutions.
  • The main aim of the programme is to instil the ideas, practices and spirit of Najath College of Science & Technology and its unique features.
  • To enable the students to understand and have better relationships with the faculty members for setting the pace of fruitful teaching-learning experiences.
  • To create a comfortable environment for the newly admitted students to approach faculty mentors when facing any academic, financial and psychological problems through the well-structured Mentor Mentee network.
