Remedial Coaching Monitoring Cell (RCMC)

To conduct remedial coaching for slow learners as well as students belonging to Minorities with poor academic performance, Najath College of Science & Technology, Karuvarakundu has constituted a Remedial Coaching Monitoring Cell in association with Internal Quality Assurance Cell- NCST to ensure the effective implementation of remedial coaching programs in the college. Based on the Internal assessment, University examination results, and evaluation by the concerned tutors and mentors, students are identified and due attention is provided for their areas of weakness and are given apposite assistance.

Aims and Objectives

• To identify slow learners so that it can facilitate better handling of students according to their academic needs.
• To improve the academic skills of the students in various subjects.
• To make the students assess their academic scores and enrich their subject knowledge.
• To raise their level of comprehension of basic subjects to provide a stronger foundation for further academic pursuit.
• To motivate and help the academically weaker students to realize their weaknesses and help them improve on their fronts.
• Raising their level of comprehension of basic subjects to provide a stronger for further academic work.

Functions and Responsibilities.

• Maintain and implement a well-organised strategy to identify slow learners and advanced learners.
• Prepare a semester-based schedule for the remedial classes.
• Monitor the individual progress of the participants.
• Prepare annual reports of the activities of the committee.
