Jb. KT Manu Musliyar (1932 - 2009)
Najath College of Science & Technology owes its very genesis to the indomitable vision of the late Jb. KT Manumusliar (1932–2009)—a towering figure in the realms of scholarship, authorship, social reform, and educational leadership.
His life’s work was shaped by a profound empathy for the marginalised and a resolute commitment to intellectual empowerment. Distressed by the deplorable educational conditions afflicting his community—especially the orphans and the destitute— Jb.. Manu Musliar transformed concern into action. His response was not merely reactive but deeply strategic: the establishment of the Darunnajath Islamic Centre (DNIC), a pioneering initiative that brought together distinguished personalities from diverse walks of life.
This Centre became the crucible for a transformative movement in education and social upliftment. Najath College, in particular, embodies the spirit of its founder: a commitment to inclusive education, a reverence for knowledge, and a drive to nurture the potential of every student, regardless of circumstance. The college’s ethos is inseparable from Jb. KT Manu Musliar’s belief that education is not a privilege but a right—a powerful instrument for dignity, progress, and social justice.
Today, every initiative inspired by his legacy speaks not only of success but of purpose. His vision continues to challenge and inspire, urging successive generations to pursue excellence with compassion and to uphold the values of equity, integrity, and transformative service.
