The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) at Najath College of Science & Technology plays a pivotal role in institutional planning, decision-making, and the effective implementation of academic and infrastructural development initiatives. It serves as the central mechanism for ensuring quality enhancement and sustenance across all dimensions of the college’s functioning.

Objectives


  • To develop a system of conscious, consistent, and catalytic action to improve the academic and administrative performance of the institution.
  • To ensure all stakeholders are connected with higher education about the quality of education imparted by the institution.

Functions


  • Dissemination of information on quality parameters of higher education.
  • Organisation of workshops, seminars, and promotion of quality circles on quality-related themes.
  • Documentation of programmes/activities contributing to quality improvement.
  • Acting as a nodal agency of the institution for quality-related initiatives.
  • Preparation of the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) to be submitted to NAAC based on prescribed quality parameters.
Development and application of quality benchmarks/parameters for academic and administrative activities.
