As per the UGC regulations, Najath College has constituted the Internal Complaints Committee headed by a senior female faculty member as per compliance with the UGC Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal of Sexual Harassment of Women Employees and Students in Higher Educational Institutions Regulations 2015. It conducts inquiries into sexual harassment from students, faculty and non-teaching staff. It also assists the complainants, if they want to file a complaint with the police. This cell aims at sensitizing the students and staff to work diligently to prevent sexual harassment in the college. Complaints of sexual harassment shall be lodged with the Committee and appropriate disciplinary action is initiated by the members following the rules and regulations of the college. The objective of the ICC:

• Foster a healthy and safe atmosphere for both faculty and students.
• Prevent any form of sexual harassment or exploitation.
• Implement proactive measures through seminars and outreach programs.
• Address grievances confidentially and sensitively.

Functions of ICC:

• To prevent sexual harassment in the workplace.
• To prevent discrimination and sexual harassment against girls by promoting gender amity among students and employees.
• To conduct periodical programmes on women's empowerment.
• To provide a conducive environment and congenial atmosphere for women.
