Overview
The Student Welfare Committee is a pivotal body entrusted with planning, directing, and monitoring all student-centric initiatives across the college. It coordinates with diverse sub-bodies, including the Mentor-Mentee Programme, Scholarship Cell, Class Monitors Body, Health & Wellness Club, Counselling Cell, Placement Cell, and the Employability Skill Development Cell (ESDC).
The Committee’s core mission is to foster the holistic development of students—academically, emotionally, socially, and professionally—ensuring a nurturing and inclusive campus environment.

Objectives
1. Student–Administration Interface
  • Serve as a bridge between students and college administration.
  • Collect and review student suggestions via the physical drop box and online portal.
  • Address concerns related to student welfare and development.
2. Psychosocial Support & Mentorship
  • Promote strong student–teacher relationships through structured mentoring.
  • Support students facing psychological challenges by facilitating access to college counsellors.
  • Encourage reconciliation and emotional well-being through guided interventions.
3. Campus Hygiene & Safety
  • Monitor general hygiene across campus premises.
  • Ensure food safety and cleanliness in the canteen.
  • Oversee building maintenance and sanitation.
  • Regularly inspect drinking water quality and availability.
4. Institutional Coordination & Programme Execution
  • Organise career-readiness programmes and strengthen placement initiatives.
  • Promote awareness and participation in ESDC activities.
  • Conduct special meetings with parents of students showing low attendance or academic performance.
  • Collaborate with the Staff Council for student welfare planning.
  • Highlight student welfare concerns to college authorities and execute relevant programmes.
5. Student Empowerment & Awareness
  • Motivate students to join Personality Development Classes and other external programmes.
  • Disseminate information about welfare schemes, medical facilities, internal complaints mechanisms, and other support services.
  • Encourage active student participation in developmental and awareness campaigns.
