Purpose:
The Health and Wellness Club is dedicated to fostering a culture of holistic well-being within the college. Health & Wellness Club aim to promote physical, mental, and emotional health among students, faculty, and staff. Health & Wellness Club also aim to extend this awareness to parents and other stakeholders, thereby creating a supportive health-conscious community.
Objectives:
Health Awareness: Educate the college community about the importance of health and wellness through regular awareness programs, workshops, and seminars led by health professionals and experts.
Healthy Lifestyle: Encourage and facilitate the adoption of healthy lifestyle habits through various campaigns, resources, and activities to improve overall well-being.
Physical Fitness: Promote physical fitness by establishing a well-equipped gym, offering diverse fitness classes, and organizing intramural sports and fitness competitions to encourage participation and engagement.
Mental Well-being: Address mental health issues by providing access to counselling services, organizing stress management workshops, and creating safe spaces for discussions on mental health.
Community Outreach: Extend health awareness programs to parents and other stakeholders, fostering a health-conscious environment beyond the college. This includes interactive workshops and informational sessions designed to support family well-being.
