Energy Club
In alignment with the directives of the University of Calicut and the Energy Management Centre (EMC) under the Energy Club Kerala Programme 2025–26, Najath College of Science & Technology has formally constituted its Energy Club.
Vision
- To inspire students to become aware and committed to the cause of energy conservation and environmental protection, thereby fostering a culture of responsibility and sustainability.
Mission
- To sensitise students and staff about the need, concepts, and methodologies of energy conservation and environmental protection, and to highlight the benefits accruing to individuals, society, and the nation.
- The club shall achieve this by regularly organising talks, seminars, workshops, exhibitions, and other awareness programmes.

Purpose and Activities
The Energy Club shall serve as the nodal body within the college for:
- Implementing awareness programmes on energy efficiency and renewable energy.
- Coordinating student participation in debate competitions and other events under the Energy Club Kerala Programme.
- Promoting sustainable practices on campus in line with the Energy Conservation Act, 2001 and the Agni Tattva (LIFE) national campaign.
This constitution reflects the college’s commitment to nurturing environmentally conscious citizens and contributing meaningfully to India’s energy transition goals.
