    Hill Trekking and Nature Camp at Brahmagiri Hills

    The Nature Club of Najath College of Science and Technology, Karuvarakundu, organized a two-day Hill Trekking and Nature Camp at Brahmagiri Hills, Wayanad, on 19–20 October 2026. A total of 34 students and 3 teachers participated in the programme. The camp was conducted at Brahmagiri Eco-Tourism Centre, Thirunelly Papanasini VSS.
    The programme aimed to promote environmental awareness and biodiversity conservation among students. Participants travelled from the college and reached the camp site on the first day. An evening camp session provided opportunities for interaction and team building. The main trekking activity was conducted on 20 October through the scenic Brahmagiri Hills. Students experienced nature firsthand and learned the importance of protecting forests and wildlife. The programme enhanced teamwork, leadership qualities, physical fitness, and self-confidence.
