    Hope 2026 - Suicide Prevention Awareness Class

    The NSS Unit No. 210 of Najath College of Science & Technology, Karuvarakundu, organized “Hope 2026”, a Suicide Prevention Awareness Class, on 10 September 2026 at 11:00 AM in the College Auditorium. The programme was inaugurated by Dr. Abdul Jaleel O, Principal, who emphasized the importance of mental well-being and emotional resilience among students. The awareness session was led by Ms. Anu Jose, Psychosocial Student Counsellor and Life Skill Trainer, who provided valuable insights into suicide prevention, recognizing warning signs, stress management, and the significance of seeking timely support. The session created awareness about mental health challenges faced by youth and encouraged students to build supportive relationships and promote a culture of empathy and care. The programme concluded with an interactive discussion and a call to foster hope, resilience, and mental well-being within the campus community.
