The Excellence & Empowerment program at Najath College of Science and Technology, Karuvarakundu, was successfully conducted with great enthusiasm. The event began with an inspiring inauguration by Dr. Abdul Jaleel Odengadan, Principal of NCST. Academic toppers and interns were honoured, celebrating their hard work and achievements. Mr. Muhammed Kunhu MK, Vice Principal and IQAC Coordinator, led the felicitation segment with motivating words. Internship certificates were distributed by Mr. M. Fiyas, Member of Block Panchayath, Kalikavu. This recognition highlighted the importance of practical learning alongside academic excellence. The program also featured an Investor Awareness Session by Mr. Akilesh A, ASAP Skill Trainer. His session provided valuable insights into financial literacy and smart investing. Students actively engaged in the discussions, making the event both educational and empowering. Overall, the program successfully combined honouring achievements with skill development, leaving participants motivated to learn and grow further.

The PG Department of Commerce & Management Studies at Najath College of Science and Technology, Karuvarakundu, organised a workshop on Project Management on Friday, 30th January 2026, for the MCom Students.
The session commenced at 10:00 AM in the College Seminar Hall.
The event was inaugurated by Dr Abdul Jaleel Odengadan, Principal of NCST, who emphasised the importance of project-based learning in both academic and professional contexts. The workshop featured Dr Abdul Rasheed PC, Head of the Department of Commerce at KTM College, Punnakkad, as the resource person. His insightful presentation covered key aspects of planning, execution, and evaluation in project management, tailored to the academic and entrepreneurial interests of the participants.
The workshop aimed to equip students with practical tools and strategies for managing projects effectively, fostering both academic excellence and career readiness.


The PG Department of Commerce organised a four‑day study tour for V semester BBA students from 10th to 13th October 2025. Coordinated by Mr Shafeeque Ajmal PT with faculty support, the trip aimed to provide industrial exposure, practical learning, and insights into eco‑tourism and renewable energy.
The journey began with excitement as students departed from the college at night. On arrival in Munnar, they checked into a resort and visited the Tata Tea Museum, observing tea processing and learning about production and marketing. The next day, the group travelled to Ramakkalmedu, where the Wind Energy Farm offered lessons on sustainable energy. Trekking and sightseeing added adventure and strengthened teamwork.
The team returned to college early on 13th October, sharing reflections and feedback. The tour blended learning with exploration, giving students valuable exposure to industry practices, sustainability, and collaborative skills.

INFOCOM – Organisation Visit 2025

First-year students of the Commerce Department undertook an insightful organisation visit to Kurikkal Business Park, Ayyappankavu, under the leadership of Mr. A.M. Abdulla. INFOCOM coordinated the visit as part of its academic-industry interface initiative.
Participants engaged with professionals across various sectors within the park, gaining exposure to business operations, entrepreneurial models, and emerging technologies.
The visit fostered practical understanding and encouraged dialogue on innovation and career pathways.
The session concluded with an interactive Q&A and a token of appreciation presented to the host team.
The visit was a valuable step toward bridging academic learning with real-world enterprise.

BIZFEST 2025: Life Skills for Future Leaders
INFOCOM – the Club of BCom Co-operation, in association with IQAC, hosted BIZFEST 2025 on 28 October 2025 at the Seminar Hall of Najath College.
The event was inaugurated by Mr. Muhammed Kunhu MK, who highlighted the role of life skills in shaping confident, capable graduates.
Mr. Salman EK, educator, energy coach, and proud alumnus of Najath College, led a powerful session on emotional intelligence, personal growth, and goal setting. His insights resonated deeply with the students.
The event was coordinated under the leadership of Mr Abdulla AM, Club In-charge, and marked a successful step toward holistic student development.
