Department of Sociology

Established in the academic year 2022-23, the Department of Sociology at Najath College of Science and Technology has embarked on a journey to foster a deeper understanding of the social world. Our mission is to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and critical thinking abilities necessary to analyze and address the complex social issues of our time. With a team of dedicated faculty members, we offer undergraduate programs in Sociology that provide a comprehensive education in sociological theories, methods, and applications. Our curriculum is designed to encourage students to think critically about social structures, institutions, and relationships, and to develop effective solutions to social problems. Through a combination of classroom instruction, research projects, and community engagement, we aim to inspire students to become active participants in creating a more just and equitable society.
