The Anti-Narcotic cell of the college has been constituted as per the order of Govt. of Kerala GO(MS)No 205/2013/Nov, TVM dt 09/12/2013 to ensure a drug-free campus by imposing a total ban on the possession or use of drugs and alcohol by students of the college, within or outside the campus. It aims at working against the use of alcohol, tobacco drugs and other narcotic items.

Objectives
To impose a strict ban on the possession or use of narcotic items on campus.
To engage the students in anti-narcotic activities in their life.
To enhance the student’s awareness and understanding of the harmful social and health effects of illicit drug use.
To motivate the student community to actively participate in awareness programmes conducted by the cell
To provide counselling sessions for students who display tendencies towards such drug or alcohol/ narcotic use.
The functions & Responsibilities
Organizing awareness programmes in the college and premises with the help of government/ authorized/volunteer agencies/ organizations.
Educating the students about the ill effects of drugs and alcohol, and encouraging peer policing among students against the use of drugs.
Organizes seminars, campaigns and rallies, against the use of tobacco and drugs in the College and its vicinity.
The cell officials keep close contact with the excise and police departments and arrange programs to make the students aware of the strong legal force working against narcotics.
Anti- Narcotic cell can conduct programs along with other clubs and forums to create awareness of the ill effects of the use of drugs among the student community – Poster presentations, Street Plays, Distribution of Flyers, and Celebrating days associated with the theme can be encouraged
Ensuring no sale of tobacco/narcotic products inside and on the premises of the campus.
Provide counselling sessions whenever it is required.
