    Inauguration of BEACON – Literary Association of English

    The Department of English at Najath College of Science & Technology hosted the inauguration of its Literary Association, BEACON, under the title VERSEORA.
    The event commenced with a prayer by the College Prayer Team, followed by a warm welcome from Ms Misva KU, Coordinator of BEACON. Ms Shahana Thasnim N, Head of the Department of English, delivered the Presidential Address, and Principal Dr Abdul Jaleel Odengadan presented the Inaugural Address.
    Felicitations were offered by Mr Mohammed Kunhu (Vice Principal), Mr Mohammed Hasbullah (Staff Secretary), Mr Sainul Abid (Head, Dept. of Commerce), and Ms Nishana EP (Head, Dept. of Sociology).
    Mr. Muneer Agragami delivered the keynote address, noted writer and artist.

    The event also featured the distribution of certificates for the English Department’s certificate course and a ceremony to honour the chief guest. Ms. Rasna P, President of BEACON, concluded the programme with a vote of thanks.
