Language Competencies in the Era of AI
The PG Department of English organized a seminar on "Language Competencies in the Era of AI" on November 20, 2024. The event explored the intersection of language, technology, and AI, featuring a keynote address by Ms. M.K. Vineetha, Assistant Professor at KAHM Unity Women's College.
Ms. Vineetha discussed the evolving role of language competencies in the digital era, emphasizing the importance of human language skills in an AI-driven world. She highlighted the benefits and challenges of AI in language learning, processing, and communication.

Lit Launch: BA English Honours Induction Programme
The PG Department of English at Najath College organized Lit Launch, an induction program for newly admitted BA English Honours students. Book Review Competition
The PG Department of English, Najath College, in association with IQAC, organized a book review competition on June 19, 2024, for the novel "Ram C/o Anandi". Shamija (MA) and Sana T (UG) presented insightful reviews, with Shamija winning first prize and Sana securing second prize. The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony graced by MK Vineetha, Assistant Professor at KAHM Unity Women's College.
