FYUGP College Level Implementation Committee


To ensure the effective implementation of the Four-Year Undergraduate Programme (FYUGP), Najath College of Science & Technology has constituted a College-Level Implementation Committee. This committee provides academic and administrative leadership in aligning the programme with national guidelines, university directives, and institutional priorities. The committee is chaired by the Principal, with the Academic Coordinator serving as the convenor. In addition, one representative from each department is included as a member, ensuring broad participation and discipline-specific perspectives in decision-making.

Core Functions of the Committee

  • Programme Planning and Execution
    Develops strategies for the phased introduction and smooth running of the FYUGP in line with UGC and university regulations.
  • Curriculum Implementation
    Ensures that departmental teaching plans, course structures, and evaluation methods are aligned with the FYUGP framework.
  • Monitoring and Review
    Periodically reviews the progress of the programme, identifies challenges, and recommends corrective measures.
  • Faculty and Student Support
    Coordinates orientation programmes, workshops, and awareness sessions to familiarize faculty and students with the new structure.
  • Interdepartmental Coordination
    Facilitates collaboration among departments to maintain uniformity in academic standards and assessment practices.
  • Compliance and Reporting
    Prepares reports, maintains records, and communicates with the affiliating university and regulatory bodies regarding programme implementation.
  • Quality Assurance
    Promotes best practices in teaching, learning, and evaluation to uphold academic excellence under the FYUGP framework.
